YEREVAN, JUNE 21, ASRMENPRESS. The IT sphere has recorded a huge progress in comparison with the results we had five years ago. As reports "Armenpress" the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan stated this at the opening ceremony of DigiTec Business Forum. Also, the Prime Minister stressed: "The fact the world's famous organizations give the Republic of Armenia their preference in the region and establish their regional centers here, is also to prove that. We have launched a large amount of activity with the private sector and we have apparent results now."

Among other things the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan noted that the business forums, which launch in the Silicon Valley, make their contribution as well. Those forums enable our country a chance to get in touch directly with the world's leading companies and particularly study their experience, thus promoting the development of the IT sphere in the Republic of Armenia.

The objective of 6th annual DigiTec Business Forum is to promote the creation of ICT enabled Innovative Economy. Best local and international practices, involvement of representatives from state and private sectors, international and donor organizations, working to enhance innovative economies, key international speakers and experts ensure the best environment for exhibiting and sharing ideas on innovative development and Smart Country profiles.
