YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS: Central Electoral Commission issued the first data of electors' participation embracing  the cities possessing 10 thousand and more habitants at 11: 00 am. As Armenpress reports, 86 thousand 601 Yerevan citizens (making 10. 50%) out of 824 thousand 806 electors have already  voted. The results are as following regarding the Provinces: Aragatsotn 11 422, 9.99% of all the electors, Ararat, 30 817 - 14.46%, Armavir, 18 887 -41%, Gegharkunik  23 970,12.85%, Lori, 27 773, -11.86%, Kotayk, 22 595 - 9.76%, Shirak 18 244 - 7.96%, Syunik, 16 613 -15.13%, Vayots Dzor, 45 739- 9.68% and Tavush 14 385- 13.26%.

The largest number of participation was registered in Vanadzor city, namely 10 780 people have already  cast their votes, making 11.16% of voters registered  in the electoral roll. A high level of participation was observed in the second largest city of the Republic Gyumry as well, 9016 voters, 7,18% and in the town of Hrazdan, 4 352 people, 9.90%.

The citizens of the Republic of Armenia are participating in Presidential elections for already the sixth time. 1988 polling stations of 41 electoral districts are open by 08:00. The total number of the voters included in the voters' register of the Republic of Armenia is 2.505.980 by February 17. There are seven contenders running for president in the Republic of Armenia. The names of the presidential candidates are introduced in the alphabetical order in the ballots. They are as follows: Hrant Bagratyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan, Raffi Hovhannisian, Andrias Ghukasyan, Arman Melikyan, Serzh Sargsyan, Vardan Sedrakyan. 

 The voting will end at 20: 00. The Presidential Election results will be wrapped up on February 25.
