YEREVAN, MARCH 22, ARMENPRESS.  The meeting of the speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan, with the speaker of the Milli Majlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, has ended in Geneva.

According to the Azerbaijani media, during the meeting, the parties discussed how the parliaments of the two countries can support the peace process amidst ongoing peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. They have agreed to explore possibilities for dialogue at the parliamentary level.

The bilateral meeting between the speakers of the parliaments of Armenia and Azeraijan took place on the sidelines of the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva.
