Turkey’s ruling party Istanbul HQ attacker killed

YEREVAN, JANUARY 23, ARMENPRESS. The man who had attacked the HQ of Turkey’s ruling party in Istanbul - Bilgehan Karpat, member of Turkey’s Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (DHKP/C), has been killed by law enforcement agencies during his arrest, Anadolu reported.

When police attempted to arrest the assailant, a firefight broke out and Karpat was shot dead.

The man attacked Istanbul’s AK party HQ on January 20. No one was hurt during the attack.
