YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan suggested Central Bank President Arthur Javadyan to engage in discussions with trading banks on the issue of providing privileges to law-abiding taxpayers. According to the PM, the initiative belongs to the State Revenue Committee.

“Mr. Javadyan, the head of SRC has a suggestion, which is the following: they want to introduce a classification in taxpayers, and give a status of law-abiding taxpayer. I ask you to discuss this issue with trading banks: if the taxpayer has such title, such qualification, will the trading banks grant him/her privileged conditions? What do you think, is it accomplishable?”, Karapetyan asked Javadyan.

In response, CB President Javadyan said for encouraging transparent organizations they can make several changes in regulations and decrease the risk burdens for banks.

“We have already applied this for exporting organizations, in those cases the banks have wider opportunities and the loan accessibility deepens, banks are able to provide loans easier, faster and with better conditions”, he said.
