YEREVAN, AUGUST 2, ARMENPRESS. President of the “Against Legal Arbitrariness” NGO, Former Ombudswoman Larisa Alaverdyan says it’s too early to label the gunmen who had seized a police precinct with any terms.

“I was against the “terrorist” term. It is early to label it as terrorism until the investigation and judicial processes. Especially that term means something else in international platform”, she said.

MP of the Supreme Council Azat Arshakyan says regardless of anything military units or law enforcement regiments shouldn’t be seized. Nevertheless, Arshakyan says the fact that the gunmen laid down their weapons can be viewed as mitigating circumstances.
