Russian FM Lavrov considers the recent announcements of the Turkish leadership on the NKR conflict absolutely unacceptable. “ I think that the announcements of the Turkish leadership are absolutely unacceptable for one particular reason, that is they are not calls for peace, but calls for war”, “Armenpress” reports Lavrov saying at a press conference.

Lavrov added that the announcements of the official Ankara were urges to solve the conflict by military means, which fundamentally contradict the position of OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs and the entire international community. “Unfortunately we are already used to similar imaginations of the current Turkish leadership”, he said.

Lavrov is on an official visit in Armenia at the invitation of Nalbandian. Serzh Sargsyan is scheduled to receive him. Within the framework of the official visit, Lavrov paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
