Body of Su-24 deceased pilot sent from Turkey to Russia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. The body of the Russian pilot Oleg Peshkov, who died in Syria, was handed to Russia, “Armenpress” reports, citing TGRT.

It is clear in the footage that the Turkish military transport the coffin carrying the body to the plane.

The body of the Russian pilot was taken from Hatay province to Ankara on Nov. 29. Earlier Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu had announced that the Turkish side had recovered the pilot’s body and would hand it over to the diplomats, TASS reports.
