Erdoğan hopes Nazarbayev will help him to meet with Putin

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan once again expressed readiness to meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin. Erdoğan said the aforementioned to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during a phone conversation. “Armenpress” reports, citing the official website of Kazakhstan President, that the telephone conversation was held at the initiative of the Turkish side.

The two presidents exchanged thoughts on the current state of bilateral relations and prospects of their development. They also spoke about the Syrian crisis and downing of the Russian Su-24.

The President of Kazakhstan expressed regret about the incident and noted that he is concerned with the deterioration of Russian-Turkish relations. Nazarbayev suggested creating a Russian-Turkish Commission to study the details of the incident.
