Iker Casillas breaks Champions League record

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Iker Casillas surpassed Edwin Van der Sar with his 51st clean sheet in the Champions League to go clear in the all-time list.

“Armenpress” reports referring to Daily Mail that the FC Porto goalkeeper's shut-out in the 2-0 home win over Maccabi Tel Aviv saw him nudge clear of the former Ajax, Juventus and Manchester United goalkeeper.

The 34-year-old, who left Real Madrid in the summer, has three Champions League titles to his name from his time at the Bernabeu.
