PM Hovik Abrahamyan receives newly-appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan received newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia H.E. Mr. Igor Nazaruk on October 6. As “Armenpress” was informed by Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia PM congratulated Igor Nazaruk for assuming office and wished him success in his diplomatic mission. Prime Minister highly appreciated intergovernmental relations between Armenia and Belarus and expressed conviction that Ambassador Nazaruk’s activities would contribute to strengthening and deepening cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.

During the meeting the interlocutors exchanged thoughts on intensification of economic relations between Armenia and Belarus, full realization of the existing potential and the issues related to expanding cooperation in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).  In this context the activities of the Armenian-Belarusian intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was attached great importance to.
