In the Electrical power  generation transmission and distribution sector, transmission and distribution volume formed 131 billion and 291.3 million AMD(about 277.1 million U.S dollars), which exceeds the last year volume by 2.7 percent, as compared with the same period of January-August 2014 this year

As National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress”, 1 billion 484 million kilowatt hours electricity fell to thermal power plants (reduced by 9.1%), 1 billion 593.4 million kilowatt hours electricity fell to hydro power plants (increased by 10.7%) from 5 billion and 106.3 million kilowatt hours (increased by 3.5%) electricity, generated in the same period of 2015.
