YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS: The harvesting works of the agricultural products are being carried out in the Republic of Armenia. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia informed Armenpress that by July 28, according to operative information, 263,000 tons of vegetables was produced, 68,000 tons of which are tomatoes.

The country produced more than 70 thousand tons of crops (melon, watermelon) and around 76 tons of potatoes. By July 28, according to operative information, about 161,000 tons of fruits and berries were produced in the Republic, including about 103,000 tons of apricots, which exceeds the indicator of the year 2013 by more than 14,000 tons.
