France regrets about death of Armenian soldier on border with Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, JUNE 29, ARMENPRESS: France condemns and regrets about the violations of the ceasefire regime on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the line of contact, as well as any manifestation of violence. Armenpress reports that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier stated about it, commenting on the violation of the ceasefire regime on June 26 by Azerbaijan, which opened an active fire towards the Armenian positions of Gorhayk settlement of Syunik Region of the Armenia’s Nakhchivan border, using big caliber weapons as well, in the result of which the serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia Arman M. Yepremyan, born in 1987, was killed.

“Our position is clear and simple. Efforts should be made to prevent such violations. Certainly, we express our deep condolences to the family and relatives of the killed soldier. What happened is a regrettable event”, - stated the Ambassador Jean-Francois Charpentier.
