YEREVAN, 21 MAY, ARMENPRESS. The meeting of member states to the 1970 Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property was held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 18-20 May.  As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, during the meeting, the elections for the inter-governmental committee for the 1970 Convention were held on May 20. Based on the results, Armenia became a member of the committee for a period of four years.
