Armenian President starts meetings in Washington

WASHINGTON, MAY 6, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan started his working visit to the United States of America with a meeting with the Senators John McCain (Arizona), Senator Jack Reed (Rhode Island) and Robert Menendez (New Jersey), as well as the Republican Majority Leader of the Senate Mitch McConnell.  

Armenpress reports, citing the Voice of America that Serzh Sargsyan also visited the Department of State to meet with US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick.  
On the second day of his trip, the Armenian leader will go to the Holocaust Museum in Washington and the Congress Library to get familiarized with Armenian exhibits. On May 7 Sargsyan will take part in the Armenian Genocide event, to be held at the Washington National Cathedral, and will deliver a speech.  
A trade bilateral agreement to boost mutual trade and investments will be signed in the framework of the visit.
