Armenian President grants Armenian passports to five members of Genealogy group
YEREVAN, 27 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 27, President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the six members of the Genealogy group, who will be representing Armenia and the new generation of Armenians on five continents of the globe in the form of five petals of a Forget-me-not at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
Chairman of the Council of Public Television and Radio Ruben Jaghinyan and head of the Armenian delegation to Eurovision Gohar Gasparyan participated in the meeting with the President.
During the meeting, the President granted the passports of the Republic of Armenia to the five members who live abroad and had previously requested citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, congratulated them and wished them success. The President welcomed the beautiful idea of representing Armenia in a unique format and with a new group at Eurovision Song Contest and the unity.
