Uruguay struggles to keep Armenian Genocide memory alive: Danilo Astori
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS: The Vice President of Uruguay, the President of the Senate Danilo Astori called not to forget the memory, which is a way to build a future. The parliamentary hearings “World without genocides” launched at the Hall of Sessions of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 8, organized by the Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly.
“Like Armenia, Uruguay as well, protects the deep values in the international relations. I speak about the freedom, justice, respect towards the legal state. And I speak about the peace and the peaceful settlement of all the conflicts. That is the reason we fight against the violence”, - said Astori, Armenpress reports.
