Armenia highly assesses allied relations between Armenia and Russia: Galust Sahakyan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS: Conduction of the 25th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the parliaments of Armenia and Russia one more time shows the mutual willingness to strengthen and develop the cooperation, National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan said at the session.

 “Armenia and Russia have centuries’ long friendly relations. We highly assess the special significance of the allied relations between Armenia and Russia. And the inter-parliamentary relations are the major ingredient of the cooperation between the two countries,” stressed Galust Sahakyan, Armenpress reports.

In his words, the Inter-Parliamentary Committee is a solid platform for development of the parliamentary dialogue. Galust Sahakyan noted the Armenian National Assembly takes continuous steps in the direction of promoting the cooperation in economic, social, political, cultural and educational spheres.
