YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS: Forty-three singers and artists of the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiaryan gave concerts in the border military units of Tavush Province.

The event was implemented on the initiative of Tigran Davtyan, the administrator of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, and with the support of the Defense Ministry of Armenia and the Opera Theater Support Foundation. The concert was held under the head of the chief conductor of the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet Karen Durgaryan.

Tigran Davtyan told Armenpress that the theater group gave concerts in 4 military units of Tavush province October 15-17.

“On the initiative of the Opera Theater board and my friends, we visited the cross-border military units of Tavush province with our team, which I will call “Tigran Davtyan and Friends” hereafter. The idea came this spring when Movses village was fired. It occurred to us that we should give a concert and encourage our soldiers,” said Tigran Davtyan.
