“The Armenian Genocide: A Linguocognitive Perspective” published
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS: It is not accidental that the book “The Armenian Genocide: A Linguocognitive Perspective” is in English and is devoted to the straggle against the anti-Armenian propaganda. The author of the book, the Head of the Department for English Philology of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of the Yerevan State University Seda Gasparyan told about it at the presentation of the book held on October 20.
“Highlighting the established and important provision of the unity of the language and thinking in the language cognitivity, I have come to the conclusion that there are comments, which deteriorate the issue of the Armenian Genocide, present it quite wrongly and carry out anti-Armenian propaganda before the international community. This book is special as the language is a starting point for the study: the study of the language facts helps preventing the historic and political deteriorations and different approaches of the anti-Armenian propaganda”, - said Seda Gasparyan, Armenpress reports.
