YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America Tigran Sargsyan paid a visit to Los Angeles on September 30-Ocotber 1. The aim of the visit was to participate in the events dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia.

The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America Tigran Sargsyan had a meeting with the spiritual leaders of the Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as heads and members of the Armenian organizations. At the course of the meetings, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues regarding Armenia’s foreign and internal policy, Armenian-American relations, Armenia-Diaspora cooperation, etc.

In his speech, Ambassador Sargsyan underscored: “In this respect, the financial and technical assistance provided by the United States is of a certain importance and we are grateful to the American Government for always standing by Armenia’s side.”
