Hranush Hakobyan urges all Armenians to protest against explosion of Deir ez-Zor’s Armenian Church
YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS: Diaspora Minister of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan urges the heads of all-Armenian organizations and institutions to protest against explosion of the Armenian St. Martyrs Church in Deir ez-Zor. As Armenpress reports, the statement issued by Hranush Hakobyan, particularly runs:
“Diaspora Ministry of Armenia strongly condemns the new manifestation of this incredible atrocity, cultural genocide and calls on all Diaspora organizations, institutions and the mass media to speak out about this terrible vandalism committed against the sanctuary of Armenian people, to apply to the authorities of the countries they dwell in, foreign embassies, international organizations, authoritative institutions dealing with culture preservation to condemn the crime committed against the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, Armenian people and all nations, entire human civilization, as well as to take measures for finding ways of preventing similar despicable crimes.
I am sure, at the threshold of the Armenian Genocide centenary all Armenians will manifest common will and determination, making their voice heard around the world. I ask you to inform the Ministry about your steps.
