YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: The President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili has congratulated President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Armenia’s Independence Day, wishing successes and prosperity, Armenpress reports citing Georgian President’s press service.

“Our friendship has a millennium-long history. We in Georgia respect your country’s culture and history. Our relations are not only an example of friendship and brotherhood, but also a major prerequisite of the welfare, security and development in the region,” the message written by Giorgi Margvelashvili reads.

The President of Georgia expressed readiness to work in the direction of further expansion and development of the relations.
