YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS: Armenian specialists develop the modern Armenian animation and are trying to establish a center to transfer the best traditions to the generations. For that purpose the government of the Republic of Armenia has already allocated 123 million 600,000 drams to the Roberts Sahakyants Animation Studio NGO.  

The executive director of the Robert Sahakyants Production Studio Hayk Sahakyants told Armenpress that some time ago they had 620 square meters territory of the secondary school #40 after Arshavir Shavarshyan. “We will have there a children's drawing school, the studio itself, as well as an animation museum. On the territory of the former school there is the necessity to carry out some repair works and we will direct the funds provided by the government to those works”, - said Hayk Sahakyants. In the result the Animation Center after Robert Sahakyants will be established, the opening of which is intended to hold next spring.
