Armenia gives adequate response to enemy: Prime Minister
GYUMRI, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s response to the enemy has always been adequate. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan at a press conference in Gyumri, answering the journalists' questions on his assessment of Armenia's reactions on Azerbaijani operations. "I myself have been in Tavush, and those responsible assure that we answer the enemy several times more intensely. Our answer has always been adequate, and now projects are being developed for the assistance of border villages," as reports "Armenpress", said Prime Minister.
Speaking of his attitude to the fact that Russia sells weapons to Azerbaijan, Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan noted that Armenia cannot interfere in that process. "We believe that when our strategic partner sells weapons to the enemy, it is not tolerable, but on the other hand, there are trade and interests, and we cannot interfere," he said.
On June 18 the Russian media spread information that Russia sold a large number of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other weapons to Azerbaijan with the total cost of 1 billion dollars. Russia and Armenia have established strategic allied relations.
