Weapons sold to Azerbaijan don't distort military balance, Russian officials assure
YEREVAN, JUNE 16, ARMENPRESS. The members of the Armenian delegation raised the issue of the weapons sold to Azerbaijan by Russia at the course of the session of the interparliamentary committee on the Armenian-Russian cooperation. The Head of the Armenian Delegation, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan stated this at the press conference of the Armenian delegation held in the National Assembly of Armenia.
As reports “Armenpress”, among other things the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan underscored: “We have raised that issue with the Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and then at the course of the session of the committee held in Nizhny Novgorod. The Russian officials voiced their concerns on the armaments of Azerbaijan. There have been discussions and debates on that topic.”
At the same time, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan noted that the Russian officials assured that it does not distort the military balance.
