Earthquake in Georgia felt in Armenia's Tavush Province

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. A 5 magnitude earthquake hit in 102 km Western direction from the Georgian capital Tbilisi on September 17 at 08.09 o'clock by local time. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that the hypocenter of the earthquake is 10 km deep. The geographical coordinates of the epicenter are as follows: 42.170 northern latitude and 45.89 eastern longitude.

The earthquake was also felt in the cities of Noyemberyan and Ijevan of the Republic of Armenia and measured 3 points. In accordance with the current information the earthquake caused no casualties and damages.
