"Armenpress" introduces 14th bestseller books list: Akram Aylisli's "Stone Dreams" tops rating

YEREVAN, APRIL 19, ARMENPRESS. "Stone Dreams" by Akram Aylisli beat a record this week. There are three Armenian translations of Azerbaijani author Akram Aylisli's novel-requiem, and all the three publications of the book appeared in the bestseller books list introduced by "Armenpress" News Agency and occupied different positions. The Armenian version of the prominent Azerbaijani writer's "Stone Dreams" published by "Graber" publishing house tops the bestseller books list. Artak Vardanyan translated the novel into Armenian. Aram Ananyan authored the preface of the book and the publication was edited by Seyranuhi Geghamyan. "Hey, Noah!" book by young Armenian writer Armenuhi Sisyan occupies the second position of the list. The same book by Akram Aylisli, but this time published by "Edit Print" publishing house occupies the third position. Popular "Masha and the Bear" tale appeared in the fourth position. And again "Stone Dreams" by Akram Aylisli published by "Nork" publishing house is the fifth.

''The Book of Lamentations'' by outstanding Armenian author St. Gregory of Narek appeared in the sixth position. This masterpiece by St. Gregory of Narek has always been included in our bestseller books list. "Narek" is followed by "Memories of My Melancholy Whores" by Gabriel García Márquez. Astrid Lindgren's "Pippi Longstocking" tale appeared in the eighth position of the list. Hovhannes Toumanyan's tales occupy the ninth position. Tumanyan’s tales are followed by Armenian author Mark Aren's "Where the Wild Roses Bloom", which appeared in the tenth position of the Bestseller Books List introduced by "Armenpress" News Agency.
