YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. The General Prosecution has forwarded the online footage showing an alleged case of torture and related media reports to the Special Investigations Service for proceedings, Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan’s adviser Gor Abrahamyan said on Facebook.

He said the prosecution started studying the footage as soon as it was posted online.

Police are also carrying out inquires to validate the footage.

Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan had earlier said he will contact authorities to demand an immediate investigation.
