YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS. 10 people, including 5 children, from the village of Vaghashen in Gegharkunik province have been hospitalized in the Martuni hospital for gastroenteritis, the Ministry of Helthcare reported.

National Center for Disease Control and Prevention experts revealed that all patients participated in a party on August 17 and consumed various types of homemade food. The patients have been diagnosed with Salmonellosis, norovirus and adenovirus. The healthcare ministry said all patients are recovering.

Coincidentally, the anthrax cases which were reported earlier today again happened in the same province.
