Hranush Hakobyan expresses gratitude to France

YEREVAN, JANUARY 24, ARMENPRESS: On the occasion of passing of the Armenian Bill, Armenian Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan has addressed a letter of gratitude to France, press service of the Armenian Diaspora Ministry informed Armenpress.

The Minister’s letter particularly runs: “The high-level Armenian-French relations, the consistent fighting of the French-Armenians and French President’s persistence and determination have been crowned with a brilliant victory.”

Hranush Hakobyan stresses that the threats and offences by Turkey did not affect the decision of the Senate. Human rights remained a priority for a legal and democratic state like France.

“Today, hundreds of thousands of Armenians, who are bearers of a historical destiny and memory, are proud of their French descent and French citizenship. I am sure, the example of the French state will become contagious for other European countries as well. One day the world will say its resolute words through universal recognition - “Never any more,” the letter runs.
