Dink’s friends once again gather outside Istanbul’s Justice Palace

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. The trial over Agos editor-in-chief Hrant Dink’s murder is resuming on March 13.

Prior the court hearings, Dink’s friends once again gathered outside Istanbul’s Justice Palace. Ethnic Armenian lawmaker of Turkey’s Parliament Garo Paylan is among them.

Bulent Aydin made a statement on behalf of the gathered; stressing the real perpetrators of the crime are still far from being discovered 10 years after the murder.

“There were moments in the court proceedings when we were close to the truth, however the court is still continuing over the passive circles”, he said, stressing the witnesses will testify during the upcoming trials.

“As demanded by attorneys of the Dink family, we expect those who had their impact in carrying out the crime to be put on trial. We demand this for Hrant, for justice”, he said, mentioning they will continue demanding justice as long as the real guilty people aren’t punished.

Hrant Dink was murdered on January 19, 2007 outside the Agos office in Istanbul, Turkey.
