YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Popular singer Ofelya Hambardzumyan can be newly discovered in the latest movie, which the queen of Armenian song liked very much. First Lady of Armenia Rita Sargsyan, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, numerous art lovers and appreciators of the singer`s talent participated in the “Ofelya” movie premiere.

“I think that it is successfully made, you can watch. I got acquainted with the director long ago and I did not know that he has an intention to make a movie. It is good to happen in such way. I did not miss the chance, because I felt that this person likes and adores Armenian songs, and wants to present it on the screen. The movie is quite beautiful and true, everything is on its place”, mentioned Armenian People`s Artist Ofelya Hambardzumyan, as “Armenpress” reports.

“According to the singer`s speech, thousands of songs recorded by her could not be involved during the 55 minutes of the movie. 7 songs were involved: Songs that have been presented on the screen for 50-60 years and are loved and appreciated”, informed Ofelya Hambardzumyan.

The director of the film Hayk Vardanyan confesses that it was difficult to work with Ofelya Hambardzumyan, as she considers that everything should be on professional level.

The movie will be introduced in different communities of Diaspora, and it is planned to show it in Armenian regions and in Artsakh as well.

At the end of the premiere the First Lady of the Republic of Armenia Rita Sargsyan congratulated the renowned singer and presented her with flowers.
