YEREVAN, MARCH 31, ARMENPRESS. The US State Department responded to the question of the First Informational Service of the Public Television of Armenia in regard to Azerbaijani President Aliyev calling the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs “provocative”.

As "Armenpress" reports, the press service of the State Department reiterated the US commitment of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “The United States remains deeply engaged as a Minsk Group Co-Chair in seeking to achieve a lasting, peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The final status of NK will be determined within the broader framework of a negotiated, peaceful settlement to the conflict based upon the Helsinki Principles of non-use of force or threat of force, territorial integrity of states, and the equal rights and self-determination of people,” the U.S State Department responded.
