MP suggest Russian Prosecutor General to enlist “Grey wolves” among terrorist organizations
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. Chairman of Constitutional Legislation and State Construction Committee of the RF Federation Council Andrey Klishas addressed a letter to Prosecutor General of Russia Yuri Chayka asking to recognize Turkish youth organization “Grey wolves” as a terrorist organization and ban its activities in Russia.
“I ask you to discuss the possibility of submitting an application to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation for recognizing Turkish “Grey wolves” organization as a terrorist organization and banning its activities in the territory of the RF”, “Armenpress’ reports, citing TASS, the letter reads.
“Grey wolves” organization is an extreme right wing nationalist organization existing since 1960s. The assassination attempt of Pope John Paul II is linked with that organization.
