YEREVAN, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS. Issue on Azerbaijan’s membership to the Collective Security Treaty Organization is not discussed. Armenian minister of foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian announced about the aforementioned in the question and answer session with the government in National Assembly, answering to the “Heritage” faction MP Zaruhi Postanjyan’s question. “Such question is not discussed in CSTO. Armenia is a CSTO member, and each member has a right to express an opinion. Such decisions should be made by consensus”, Nalbandian emphasized, as “Armenpress” reports.

Referring to MP’s next question on recognizing the NKR independence, Nalbandian emphasized, that it was made numerous announcements over that question, and if the negotiation process fails and Azerbaijani side turns on military actions, Armenia will take responsive actions in recognizing the NKR independence, as well as will assure safety over the implementation of the responsibilities.
