CSTO representatives highly appreciate measures organized in the framework of “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises in Armenia as well as emphasize that they are held professionally with high level of performance. Representative of CSTO Secretariat Valery Kolchin observing “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises in Nubarashen told in his interview with “Armenpress” that everything is done at high level. “We have been observing the exercises for several days. We were present at the evacuation scenario realization of the Matenadaran and the National Gallery of Armenia and the column formation of vehicles. I can state that everything was professionally organized not to change pace of life. The exercises, measures are in accordance with rules necessary to bring the country to corresponding state of readiness.”, said Kolchin.

On September 3 “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises started in Armenia.

The nationwide event “Shant 2015” Exercises are aimed at raising the level of state’s immediate preparation for defense, military and state bodies mobilization preparedness in repulsing the act of aggression, rechecking the ability of bringing to high degree of readiness and raising the level of harmony in cooperation and actions.

Taking into account the military and political situation surrounding Armenia, the scenario of the Exercises includes а fictious rival and the situation is maximally adapted to reality.
