YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS.  In the framework of “Shant 2015” planned Military Command and Staff Exercises the valuable samples of the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts were placed in special storages. At the beginning of evacuation activities director of ”Matenadaran” Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts Hrachya Tamrazyan emphasized:

“The Matenadaran is one of the unique centers of the world that provides best means for preservation. The new building has a unique storage system. It is considered unique in the world and foreign experts also state that. The exhibits can be evacuated from various places and preserved in the Matenadaran.”

According to him there are all the necessary means to ensure rapid evacuation. “The evacuation is a confidential plan. There are big storages in the new building and high-capacity strategic storages in the old one.”, said Hrachya Tamrazyan.

On September 3 “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises started in Armenia.

The nationwide event “Shant 2015” Exercises are aimed at raising the level of state’s immediate preparation for defense, military and state bodies mobilization preparedness in repulsing the act of aggression, rechecking the ability of bringing to high degree of readiness and raising the level of harmony in cooperation and actions.

Taking into account the military and political situation surrounding Armenia, the scenario of the Exercises includes а fictious rival and the situation is maximally adapted to reality.
