YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS: The Government of the Republic of Armenia will purchase for $3,2 million the shares of Ararat-Restaurant LLC located in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a state property and will sell them to Tango CJSC. Armenpress reports that the draft decision is included in the session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to be held on July 30.

By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated December 27 2012, the building of the Government N2, where the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is located, was sold to Tango CJSC.

Earlier it was reported that the Government of the Republic of Armenia approved the decision of alienation of the Government building N 2 of Yerevan by direct sale. The building was purchased by the Tango CJSC (registration location: Zvartnots International Airport), belonging to the Argentinean Armenian businessman Eduardo Eurnekian.

The entire alienated territory makes 14,2 thousands square meters and the transaction value is AMD 20 billion 692 million and 320 thousands. The buyer is obliged to preserve the historical and architectural appearance of the building of the alienated property and use the property only as a 5-stars high-level hotel under the internationally known brand.

As Armenpress was reported by the State Property Management Department at the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Energy and Natural Resources, located in the Government building N2, will move to the building located in 3 Vazgen Sargsyan Street, when it is ready, according to the signed agreement.

Tango CJSC via its subsidiary company Salsa Development is the direct buyer of the state property of 0,5081 hectares area, located in 3 Vazgen Sargsyan Street in Yerevan. The preference for purchase of the building on its territory will be given to the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
