Georgia’s earthquake shakes Armenia’s Tavush and Lori
YEREVAN, JULY 27, ARMENPRESS: The Seismological Network of the Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia recorded on July 27 a 4-magnitude earthquake at 10:58 local time (06:58 Greenwich time). The geographical coordinates of the epicenter were 41.67° north latitude and 44.89° eastern longitude (Rustavi, Georgia). The hypocenter of the earthquake was on the depth of 10 kilometers.
The underground aftershock magnitude in the epicenter was 5-6 points. The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the earthquake was felt in Stepanavan – 3-4, Noyemberyan – 4-5, Koghb – 4 and Koti – 3.
