YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS. The government delegation headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia made a working visit to France on July 3. As “Armenpress” was informed from the department of media and public relations of the government of Armenia, Prime-Minister Abrahamyan held a meeting with the Major of Paris Anne Hidalgo.

The Prime Minister has highly appreciated the current level of intergovernmental relations between Armenia and France highlighted the importance of development and deepening the future collaboration in different directions. According to HovikAbrahamyan, there exists quite a wide cooperation between Armenia and France on a decentralized level: capital Yerevan and nearly three dozens of communities cooperate productively with their sister organizations.  The Prime Minister, deeming important the cooperation that strengthens day by day between the capital cities, has highly appreciated the investment of Ms. Hidalgo in promoting the relations between Yerevan and Paris. The Prime Minister has mentioned that the current and planned programs in the framework of Yerevan-Paris cooperation are in the center of attention of the government. He also expressed readiness to support the unhampered implementation of the joint projects together with Yerevan Municipality.

 Welcoming the Armenian Prime Minister the Major of Paris also highly appreciated the friendly relations between Armenia and France and considered important the development in the cooperation in different fields. According to her, the two capital cities have a huge potential for economic cooperation. She has highlighted the role of the French-Armenian community and their investment in the development of France and especially Paris.

The delegation headed by HovikAbrahamyan visited the exhibition in the Municipality of Paris dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
