YEREVAN, MARCH 5, ARMENPRESS: The only love for the Commander Vazgen Sargsyan was the motherland and the fruit of love – the Armenian Army. Vazgen deeply believed in the strength of the Armenian nation and was certain that Armenia had enough “wealth” to become a prosperous country and aimed at implementing it. Vazgen was an Armenian with all his nature, devoted to his native land and water. Thus the Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan is remembered by his relatives and friends, who are certain that he would have been the same now as well, if “October 27” had not taken the Commander’s life. Today, on March 5, Vazgen Sargsyan would celebrate his 56th anniversary.

The House Museum of Vazgen Sargsyan is located in several meters distance from the parents’ house in the native Ararat. At present the cousin of the Sparapet, Yeranuhi Musikyan, meets the visitors of the Museum and tells about Vazgen. She told Armenpress about her memories, stressing that today as well the image of Vazgen is printed in her mind, as a cheerful, kind, understanding man, loving boundlessly his motherland. “He was very emotional, though he seemed to be rude and strong, he was very emotional. He used to say: “I am afraid that people would not manage to get to know me”. And he was right. Everything he did, was done with dedication and commitment”, - remembers Yeranuhi Musikyan.
