YEREVAN, 27 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan hosted a New Year’s reception for journalists and heads of media accredited to the National Assembly. Greeting the guests, the Speaker of the National Assembly wished everyone a Happy New Year and Armenian Christmas and mentioned that the joint efforts with the media have become more fruitful year after year and that the society has become more informed. The Speaker also talked about the flaws and achievements of the passing year and touched upon the actions to take next year, mentioning that journalists and the media will play a huge role in consolidating the Armenian people as we approach the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
