YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Army is capable of protecting its homeland and each span of soil, if Karabakh is in danger. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan stated this at the course of the conversation with the journalists held on November 1. As reports “Armenpress”, the Minister underscored: “The measures aimed at strengthening confidence are the first precondition for success in the Nagorno Karabakh negotiating process. The situation was tensed in the days of the Presidents’ meeting and a couple of days ago, that’s to say the number of shots was increased. Success will come, if our neighbors realize that there must be trust between the two countries.”

Among other things, Armenia's Defense Minister stated: ''In those conditions we must substantiate the current situation and, by all means, each change must have a military, expert assessment. And if Karabakh is in danger, we’ll fight for each span of soil, for each span.”
