Armenia’s President attends opening of Yerevan Show 2014
13:50, 25 October 2014YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and Mrs. Rita Sargsyan attended the opening of international jewelry exhibition Yerevan Show 2014 held in Meridian expo-centre from October 25-28.
The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that companies producing jewelry and watches from Armenia and 24 countries of the world participated in the event, which is held by the Armenian Jewellers Association (AJA) for the fourth consecutive year.
The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan toured the pavilions of the exhibition, watched the jewelry production facilities and jewelry produced by 125 domestic and foreign companies. Also, the President got acquainted with the activity and future plans of the companies.
The President and Mrs. Rita Sargsyan also participated in the official opening of the Armenian painters’ and sculptors’ exhibition, where more than one hundred works are displayed.
