This is the worst defeat of the Armenian team in its history.

After this match Armenia is second to last in the EURO 2020 J group.

The only goal in this match for Armenia was scored by Edgar Babayan.

Italy’s Ciro Immobile and Nicolò Zaniolo scored twice.

This qualifier match has been described by The Guardian as “Italy produced the biggest win against European opposition in their history”.
