YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. 4-time Grammy winning American bassist Stanley Clarke had the chance to meet Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the Mezzo Music Club in downtown Yerevan on October 24.

Clarke is in Armenia to kick off the 2019 Yerevan Jazz Fest.

“During my career I’ve had numerous occasions to meet different politicians, but it rarely happens when you are able to speak with them like with a friend. I don’t know much about the Armenian prime minister: he was a journalist if I am not mistaken. Upon talking to him I understood that he is a good person, he likes and appreciates good music, which is extremely important,” Clarke told reporters.

Stanley Clarke will perform live in Yerevan on October 25 in the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.
