YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS. The salaries of public school teachers are expected to be raised on an average of 10% from September, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan briefed PM Nikol Pashinyan today. The PM had announced a few months ago that the salaries of teachers will be increased.   

Harutyunyan said that they’ve introduced a bill which envisages the wage raise.

“The bill is ready, it is in circulation. We need it for making the payments already in October. According to the bill teachers’ salaries will be raised on an average of 10%,” Harutyunyan said.

Harutyunyan said that they’ve envisaged the minimum wage for teachers to be 108,000 drams.
