YEREVAN, AUGUST 19, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian has addressed a telegram to President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani congratulating the 100th anniversary of the Afghan independence.

“President Sarkissian, in part, noted that Armenia attaches importance to the further development of mutual-interests based cooperation with Afghanistan. He wished President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani successes and the Afghan people eternal peace and welfare,” Sarkissian’s Office said in a news release.
